The department laboratory supports the quality management by the

• preparation / sample preparation,
• execution,
• evaluation,
• documentation,

of different test series. These test series can describe

• the technical frame conditions under which an ethylene oxide sterilization process is carried out
  => tests of the sterilizers.
• the presumable behaviour of medical products in a sterilizer
  => pretests / validation: assignment of medical products to the right sterilization process.
• the actual behaviour of medical products in a sterilizer
  => control of a routine sterilization process.
